One of the high points of today's visit to the 2012 PhotoPlus Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention center was running into Louis Mendes. Louis is a fixture in the NYC photo community. A working street photographer who creates one-of-a-kind originals with classic Graphic cameras, flashbulbs and Polaroid (now Fuji) film. As soon as I served the meat loaf for dinner last night we were both thinking of meat loaf sandwiches and a picnic! The temperatures are in the high 60°s and the colors are starting to peak. Roberta and I bought a fresh rye bread at the Rockland Bakery, got out our patriotic paper plates and napkins then had a picnic in Rockland State Park.
